The brainchild of Mr.Manuel Baldacchino and of his wife Anne-Marie.The Limestone Heritage Complex is a family run enterprise, where every family member enjoys lending a helping hand to make the visitors feel completly welcome.

Inaugurated on the 5th. May 2002 by the Hon. Minister Dr. Louis Galea, it was an instant success story and filled a long felt gap in the representation and preservation of Malta’s heritage. From the very first, the complex mission statement included the promotion of a healthy and natural environment, education, culture and tourism through entertainment and relaxation ideal for all the family. No expense or effort was spared to achieve these aims. Architects Louis Borg, Prof. Alex Torpiano and Lino Bianco provided their expertise in research and design to create accurate and easy to follow displays in a welcoming environment. A blend of the old with the new, and the careful calibration of rustic elements with modern sophistication soon earned The Limestone Heritage the respect and praise of such official bodies as the Malta Tourism Authority, The National Restoration Unit and the University of Malta, together with that of the many thousands of patrons from all over the world that visit the complex every year.
